Ordering Portable CD Players from Amazon: Delivery Timescales and Postage Costs
- Amazon’s 1-click fast ordering system is easy to use. Once you have joined and registered your details, it’s the most convenient way to order.
- You can track your order online.
- All deliveries that are small enough to be posted through the letterbox are sent by recorded delivery and must be signed for on arrival.

Delivery – UK
- Amazon delivers to addresses in mainland England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. Deliveries to the Republic of Ireland are charged according to Western Europe Delivery Rates.
- Your portable CD player will be sent either by first class post, through Parcelforce or by DHL Express, depending on its size.
- Charges depend on the size of your order. You will be charged a set price per delivery and an additional amount per item. If you order more than one item, you will pay the higher delivery rate.
- Amazon operates an Express Delivery Service to most UK addresses for a standard charge of £8.99, regardless of the number of items that you order. Orders will be delivered on the next business day.
- Super Saver Delivery is often available for orders costing £15 or more. If you use this service, your portable CD player will take between 2 and 5 days longer to arrive than it would by first class post, but delivery will be free.

Ordering Portable CD Players from Amazon: Refunds and Returns Policy
- Amazon offers a 30-day returns policy. If you aren’t happy with your portable CD player, you can return it unopened and unused to receive a full refund
- Amazon will only accept the return of opened goods if they are faulty
- If you are unhappy with a large electrical product which was delivered by a courier, you may return it within 14 days even if it has been opened.
- If your personal CD player is faulty, you will need to contact Amazon’s Retail Support Centre in order to arrange a return. Amazon will refund any postage costs for faulty products.
